Asset Labor

The Labor List displays the labor resources tied to the asset. Typically these are employees and/or contractors with expertise regarding the asset. Listed individuals can be auto-assigned to work orders that are created for the asset.

ClosedLabor List

Each labor record lists the ID and Name of the labor resource, the type, such as employee or contractor, and the priority.

ClosedAdd a Labor Record

  1. Open an asset.

  2. Tap the Labor option in the menu.

    The Labor List opens.

  3. Tap the Plus button on the gray header bar.

    The Add Labor page opens.

  4. Choose between two options:

    • Enter the name of the labor resource in the Labor field.

    • If you need to look up a labor resource:

      1. Tap the label of the Labor field.

        The Labor Lookup page opens.

      2. Select the labor resource.

  5. Enter the priority in the Priority field.

    This determines the order of display on the Labor List.

  6. Select Yes from the Auto-Assign field if this labor resource should be auto-assigned to work orders created for this asset.

    Auto-assignments automatically propagate to all records below the asset in the hierarchy. If a labor resource is designated for auto-assignment, they are auto-assigned to all work orders created on "child" assets that do not have their own auto-assignment specified.

  7. Select Yes from the Backup Resource field if this labor resource is a backup resource for the asset.

  8. Tap Save.

ClosedEdit a Labor Record

  1. Open the asset whose labor record you want to edit.

  2. Tap the Labor option in the menu.

    The Labor List opens.

  3. Select the labor resource from the Labor List.

    The Edit Labor page opens.

  4. Make your changes.

  5. Tap Save.

ClosedRemove a Labor Record

  1. Open the asset whose labor record you want to delete.

  2. Tap the Labor option in the menu.

    The Labor List opens.

  3. Select the labor resource from the Labor List.

    The Edit Labor page opens.

  4. Tap Action in the section header.

    The Action menu opens.

  5. Select Remove Labor.

    A dialog box opens, asking you to confirm your choice.

  6. Tap the Yes button.

    The labor record is removed.
